Meet our teaching team!

Claire Southworth

Claire is the founder of Swim Stars and has dedicated most of her life teaching children how to swim. Teaching swimming since 2005, starting Water Babies Gloucester 14 years ago and then Swim Stars Claire has spent more time in the water than on dry land. Claire has been a Swim England Educator since 2014 and her passion is for providing high quality swimming lessons, exceptional teachers and the joy of children learning a vital life skill means everything to her. One of Claire’s biggest achievements along with her husband, Steve, they managed to save a pool from being turned into a dance studio for the benefit of the community of Swindon. Now with a growing business and new pools in 2 more areas we can’t wait to see what the future brings… 😃

All our instructors are Level 2 qualified, lifeguard trained and DBS checked.
